And how did Daddy come to be melded with baby boy, you ask?
The father was giving his son a bath in the kitchen sink when the carpool arrived. He finished bathing his son and carried him out to the car. The nanny was also arriving, and I assumed the father was going to pass his son to the nanny, but instead, he climbed into the car with his son in his arms.
Now, this presents an intriguing situation, as the game graphics do not allow for that particular animation. Nonetheless, baby went to work with Dad. Eight hours later, the two returned home, and since there are no animations for the action, they returned in the state pictured above. Again, for those who do not play the game, there is no programming that allows infants to go to work with their parents.
I did wonder if father and son would remain in this compromised state, but after the father climbed out of the car, he took a couple of steps, and the baby "jumped" back into his arms. And after the baby was fed and bathed, all was right in the Sim world.

That's funny! I miss playing the sims. I should start again.
Now Kheri, certainly this cannot be a glitch. As we all know, it's crucial for a father to bond with his son.
LOL!
LMAO @ Jule (literally)
Very clever, Jule ... you're killing me ;)
And, yes, Me ... you should start playing again. I've been trying to get in some play time before school starts ... and before the Sims3 releases. I'm torn on this ... the seamless neighborhood in the Sims3 is very alluring, but I've invested a lot of time rebuilding my Sims2 game ... LOL and I say all this like I'm really going to have much time for the sims anymore.
Sims 3? I know what you mean Kheri. I've been looking the screen shots and I've been tempted because of the neighborhood too, but I'm still not liking that "play-do" look of the sims themselves.
And I'm in the same boat with the Sims 2. I've built so much, I've downloaded so much cc, etc. I've done all I can to make sims look as real as possible...
I feel the same way about the Sims 3. I like the seamless neighborhoods but like Jule said I don't like the "play-doh" look either.
Kheri, playing sims can be your mini (which will turn into 3 hours. Of course maybe that's just me..lol) break in between homework. :)
LOL Me ... and the Sims may actually become part of my homework ... will have to learn how to hack the game between my programming courses :)
I agree completely with both of you. I really don't like "the look" of the sims in the Sims3. And I'm not certain a seamless neighborhood is a fair trade-off for sims that have lost their realistic character.
LOL but I bet all three of us end up getting the new sims game.
lol...I bet you are right. ;)
I don't know about that, heheh. I don't think my computer can handle much more.
